Business Development Associate - SaaS / Legal SaaS

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive with 1–2 years of experience in SaaS or Legal SaaS sales/business development. The selected candidate will play a key role in driving business growth for our ESOP and Insider Law vertical by promoting and selling our proprietary software solutions — Insylisis and ESOPguardian.
The role involves client acquisition, lead generation, product demonstrations, relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, and market research.
- Promote and sell software solutions including Insylisis and ESOPguardian to corporates, listed entities, startups, and other prospective clients.
- Conduct product presentations and software demonstrations for potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions aligned with their business needs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive long-term business engagement.
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams during onboarding and implementation processes.
- Maintain sales pipeline, follow-ups, and business reports through CRM systems.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and developments in the ESOP and Insider Law compliance ecosystem.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1–2 years of experience in Business Development/Sales within the SaaS or Legal SaaS industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand legal/compliance-based software solutions and effectively explain them to clients.
- Prior experience in B2B sales and handling corporate clients will be preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive approach towards business development.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Law, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
