We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to support customer acquisition and revenue growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong interest in the fintech and payments ecosystem.
The Business Development Associate will work closely with internal teams to understand customer needs, contribute to sales strategies, and help deliver solutions that create long-term value for clients and the organization.
A Day in the Life
- Connect with potential clients through calls, meetings, field visits, networking, and referrals.
- Generate and qualify leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to provide suitable solutions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Maintain follow-ups, update CRM records, and track sales activities.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities within the fintech/payments industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer acquisition through both in-house and field sales activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Support sales strategies and business growth initiatives.
- Conduct market research and contribute towards achieving revenue targets.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or field sales roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive mindset.
- Fintech or payments industry experience is a plus.
