Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Associate role based in Mumbai. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and follow-ups with prospective clients across residential and commercial segments. The Business Development Associate will conduct market research to understand trends, competitor offerings, and client needs, and will support the creation and delivery of compelling presentations and proposals. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, coordinating property visits, maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools, and collaborating with internal teams such as sales, interiors, and property management to ensure a smooth client experience. The role also requires regular communication with clients to build long-term relationships, gather feedback, and support revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with clients, understand requirements, and explain solutions clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations and using presentation tools; ability to create and present structured proposals and pitch decks.
- Experience or demonstrated ability in lead generation, prospecting, and managing a basic sales pipeline or funnel.
- Market research skills, including gathering and analyzing data on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in or exposure to real estate, interiors, or lifestyle solutions; prior experience in sales or business development is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Mumbai, with willingness to conduct property visits and client meetings as needed.
- Basic proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email) and the ability to learn CRM or sales tracking systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
