Job Description – Business Development Associate
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to join our
growing team. In this role, you will focus on managing and nurturing our retention client portfolio —
ensuring existing clients continue to derive maximum value from our solutions. This is an excellent
opportunity for a fresher who is eager to build a career at the intersection of client relationships,
business strategy, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retention clients, building long-term
relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams (product, operations, support) to address client needs promptly.
- Track stakeholder feedback and escalate concerns to senior team members when required.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and review calls to strengthen partnerships.
Requirement Gathering
- Engage with clients to understand their evolving business needs and pain points.
- Conduct structured interviews and discussions to elicit clear, actionable requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client requirements into feasible solutions.
- Monitor client usage patterns to proactively identify opportunities for upsell or service
improvement.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, requirements, and action items.
- Prepare meeting notes, status reports, and client-facing summaries in a clear and professional
format.
- Create and manage trackers for retention KPIs, renewal timelines, and client health scores.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and is stored in designated systems.
AI Tools & Technology
- Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Notion AI, CRM AI features) to enhance
productivity and output quality.
- Use AI tools to draft client communications, summarize meeting notes, and generate reports
efficiently.
- Stay updated on emerging AI tools relevant to business development and client management.
- Contribute ideas on how AI can be integrated into team workflows to drive better outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated interest or hands-on familiarity with AI tools and productivity software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, especially in documentation and reporting.
- A proactive, client-first attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace.
Good to Have
- Prior internship experience in business development, sales, or customer success.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Zoho).
- Exposure to prompt engineering or AI workflow automation tools.
- Understanding of SaaS or B2B business models.
