Role Summary
The Business Development Associate will support business development initiatives for Magicrete’s AAC Panels and Precast solutions by managing CRM data, tracking project opportunities, generating qualified leads, and coordinating with the BD and sales teams. The role focuses on project data tracking, customer engagement, digital lead generation, and ensuring timely follow-ups to convert opportunities into business.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Data Management
- Create and maintain project documentation, reports, and CRM data
- Compile CRM and BD flash reports and share with respective Area RMs for validation
- Maintain accurate records of leads, project pipelines, and customer interactions
Project Data & Opportunity Tracking
- Share Biltrax project data category-wise (Government, Architect, Premium, Budget projects) with the BD team
- Track project developments and assist the team in identifying potential opportunities
- Support BD Head with data insights for monthly performance review
Lead Generation & Customer Engagement
- Address leads received from various sources and maintain timely follow-ups
- Engage with potential customers and guide them through the enquiry-to-order stage
- Coordinate with Distributor Sales teams to build project pipelines and generate orders
Digital Tools & Market Research
- Extract and analyze project data from platforms like Projects Today, Volza, Tender Tiger, Trade India, IndiaMART, GeM Portal, CII Tender, Kompass, and Biltrax
Online Portal Management
- Manage product listings on portals such as Trade India, IndiaMART, Moglix, and IndustryBuying
- Expand online presence by registering on platforms like Yellow Pages, Dial4Trade, Smeshops.
Marketing & Communication Support
- Send promotional and informational content to customers through email marketing campaigns
- Support BD team in coordinating promotional activities and campaign follow-ups
Market Intelligence
- Collect and share insights on customer feedback, competitor activities, technology trends, and industry developments
- Support strategy planning through structured market data and research
Training & Internal Coordination
- Assist new BD team members in understanding CRM systems, reporting formats, and Biltrax data usage
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth information flow for BD activities
Required Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
MBA preferred
Experience & Industry Background
1–3 years of experience in business development, sales coordination, or lead generation roles
Exposure to construction materials, building products, or project sales preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong CRM and data management skills
Good research and lead-generation capability
Proficiency in Excel, CRM tools, and online business platforms
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and support BD initiatives
