Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Associate role based in Adoni. The Business Development Associate will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and support the growth of Lovi’s smart home solutions in key markets. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, generating and nurturing leads, and scheduling and delivering presentations or demos to prospective customers and partners. The role also involves collaborating with product and marketing teams to align outreach efforts, preparing sales materials, and tracking performance metrics in CRM or related tools. The person in this role will regularly engage with stakeholders, respond to inquiries, and provide feedback from the field to help shape go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong lead generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and nurturing potential clients.
- Ability to conduct structured market research to understand customer segments, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Effective presentation skills, including designing and delivering clear, persuasive presentations and product demos.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple, customer-focused terms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally in technology, IoT, or smart home products, is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, with strong ownership, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and engage in regular in-person meetings with clients and internal teams.
