Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Business Development Associate (STEP Consultant Support) to work closely with the STEP Consultant in managing and accelerating high-value project sales.
This role is designed as a strategic support function, focused on strengthening the sales pipeline, enhancing client engagement consistency, and ensuring seamless coordination across the client journey—from initial outreach to project execution.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enabling high-quality client interactions, allowing the STEP Consultant to focus on consultative selling, design alignment, and deal closures. This position offers significant exposure to the luxury interiors ecosystem, including architects, interior designers, and premium project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively build and expand a high-quality database of architects, interior designers, developers, and project stakeholders
- Initiate structured outreach through calls and coordinated communication to generate qualified leads and schedule meetings
- Maintain rigorous follow-up protocols across all active and dormant leads to ensure continuity and conversion momentum
- Systematically manage and update CRM platforms, ensuring accurate tracking of client interactions, requirements, and project stages
- Assist in the preparation of detailed quotations, BOQs, and tailored client proposals aligned with project specifications
- Coordinate closely with internal teams for sampling, order processing, and execution timelines to ensure a seamless client experience
- Engage walk-in clients with a clear understanding of product categories, assisting in initial orientation and shortlisting
- Support the STEP Consultant during client presentations, design discussions, and on-site engagements
- Track ongoing and upcoming projects in the market to identify early-stage opportunities for engagement
- Monitor competitive landscape and contribute insights to strengthen market positioning and approach strategies
Qualifications & Skills
- 0–2 years of experience; high-potential freshers with strong aptitude and communication skills are encouraged to apply
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently with design professionals
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and polished approach to client interaction
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and process discipline
- Foundational understanding of sales workflows and client lifecycle management (prior exposure is an advantage)
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn in a high-performance environment
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site coordination when required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, client-driven setting
- Comfort with consistent calling, follow-ups, and structured communication
