Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Business Development Associate focused on the ANZ and UK markets. The Business Development Associate will identify and qualify potential leads, conduct outreach via calls, emails, and online channels, and nurture relationships with prospective learners, parents, and partners. The role involves conducting product demonstrations, understanding customer needs, and clearly communicating Bhanzu’s value proposition. The associate will collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute market-specific campaigns and achieve enrollment and revenue targets. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, preparing basic performance reports, and sharing feedback from the field to help refine offerings and go-to-market strategies for ANZ and UK.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and relationship building in international markets (preferably ANZ and/or UK).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with parents, learners, and partners across different time zones.
- Comfort with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and using digital channels (email, social media, video calls) to manage a high volume of interactions.
- Ability to understand and communicate education or edtech products clearly, with a customer-centric approach and strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, target-driven environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in business development, inside sales, or customer acquisition, ideally in edtech, consumer services, or international markets, is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Willingness to work flexible hours to serve ANZ and UK time zones and a strong interest in education, learning outcomes, and Bhanzu’s mission.
