Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Business Development Associate focused on the ANZ and UK markets (work from home). The role involves identifying and qualifying prospective customers, nurturing leads, and managing outreach through calls, emails, and virtual meetings. The associate will conduct market research on the ANZ and UK education landscapes, analyze trends, and segment target audiences to support data-driven growth strategies. They will schedule and conduct product demos, explain Bhanzu’s value proposition to caregivers and institutional partners, and assist in closing enrollments or partnership deals. The role also includes tracking performance metrics, maintaining accurate CRM records, collaborating with marketing and product teams, and providing feedback from learners and families to improve offerings and customer journeys.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, qualification, consultative selling, and deal support.
- Experience in stakeholder communication and relationship management, with the ability to engage caregivers, school administrators, and partners across ANZ and UK time zones.
- Market research and analysis skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, understand competitive landscapes, and segment target customer groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with confident presentation and virtual meeting skills.
- Comfort with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis for tracking funnels, conversions, and revenue outcomes.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet ambitious targets.
- Prior experience in EdTech, education services, or international inside sales is preferred, especially with ANZ and UK markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
