Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Associate focusing on the ANZ & UK markets. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and nurturing leads to ensure conversions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, prospecting, scheduling and leading client calls, building relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions to client needs. The candidate will also be expected to track sales activity, achieve revenue goals, and provide actionable insights based on client and market feedback.
Qualifications
- Experience in prospecting, lead generation, and account management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships
- Sales and business development expertise, including negotiation and closing techniques
- Market research and analytical skills to identify growth opportunities
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads and tasks
- Proficiency in CRM tools and familiarity with sales metrics tracking
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
- Background in education technology or experience in international markets such as ANZ & UK is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Passion for education and a strong desire to contribute to Bhanzu’s mission
