We are looking for a Business Development & Strategy Executive who can bring in clients, shape solutions, and contribute to growth strategy — someone who understands both business and creativity.
Role OverviewThe Business Development & Strategy Executive will be responsible for generating and closing domestic and international clients, while also contributing to campaign planning, strategic direction, and ongoing account growth.
This role blends sales, client servicing, strategy, and digital marketing understanding, and works closely with content, social media, and performance teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Client Acquisition- Identify, generate, and pursue domestic and international leads.
- Pitch Digenie’s services to brands, startups, SMEs, and institutions.
- Convert leads into clients by presenting customised digital strategies and proposals.
- Meet and exceed minimum monthly/quarterly client acquisition targets.
- Maintain and manage leads through CRM or internal tracking systems.
Client Pitching & Strategy Development- Understand client business objectives and marketing challenges.
- Collaborate with content, design, and social teams to:
- Build campaign ideas
- Create strategy decks
- Suggest design directions and content formats
- Participate in pitch meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
Campaign & Content Strategy- Contribute to campaign ideation and brand storytelling.
- Suggest content themes, reel formats, and design inspirations.
- Co-manage social media strategy including:
- Posting calendars
- Content mix
- Platform-specific approaches
- Ensure strategies align with business KPIs and performance goals.
Social Media & Performance Oversight- Coordinate with social media managers on:
- Posting schedules
- Platform optimisation
- Engagement strategy
- Assist in planning and monitoring paid ads (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.).
- Analyse performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimisation- Review social media and campaign analytics.
- Translate data into actionable insights for growth and optimisation.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Account Growth & Relationship Management- Build long-term relationships with clients.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and alignment between client expectations and execution teams.
- Proactively suggest new campaigns, formats, or services to grow accounts.
Market Research & Business Strategy- Track industry trends, competitor agencies, and emerging platforms.
- Identify new service offerings, pricing strategies, and market opportunities.
- Support leadership in business planning and growth strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 0–5 years of experience in business development, strategy, or client servicing (agency experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content, and performance marketing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and accounts simultaneously.
- Comfortable interacting with international clients.
Good to Have- Experience pitching to international markets (Middle East, Europe, APAC, etc.).
- Familiarity with proposal writing, pricing models, and retainers.
- Understanding of branding, design workflows, and content production.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools and ad platforms.
