Job Title: Business Development and Export Vertical Manager - Fruits and Vegetables Segment .
Job Overview:
Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing new business opportunities in international markets, predominantly focusing on the Fruits and Vegetables Segment. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, partnership development, and overseeing the entire export process to ensure compliance with global trade regulations and successful market penetration.
Industry: Fruits and Vegetables Segment
Experience: 5 - 10 years of experience coupled with leadership experience in Business Development and Export Management role.
Qualification: Bachelor's or Master’s in Business Administration, International Trade, Food Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Reporting to: Director
Job Type: Permanent.
Work Week: Six-day week with Staggered or Fixed Weekly Off.
Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning: a. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and export strategy for the Fruits and Vegetables Segment. b. Identify potential markets and opportunities for growth in international markets.
2. Market Analysis: a. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in the Fruits and Vegetables Segment. b. Analyse potential export markets, considering factors such as demand, regulations, and cultural preferences.
3. Business Development: a. Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and new product lines. b. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and customers.
4. Export Management: a. Oversee the entire export process, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and standards. b. Negotiate terms and conditions with international clients, shipping companies, and customs officials. c. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
