Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic business development analyst with deep knowledge of the Nigerian content market and established contacts in NNPC, NUPRC, NUIMS, and related oil & gas regulatory bodies. Under senior leadership, you'll identify opportunities, build partnerships, and support market entry strategies in Nigeria's energy sector.
Must-Have Skills & Tools
- In-depth understanding of the Nigerian content market and local content requirements.
- Established professional contacts within NNPC, NUPRC, NUIMS, and other regulatory bodies.
- 2–5 years of business development or market analysis experience in the oil & gas/energy sector.
- Strong research, analysis, and stakeholder mapping skills.
- Proficiency in market intelligence tools and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Good-to-Have
- Experience with tender processes and government bidding in Nigeria.
- Familiarity with Nigerian oil & gas regulations (e.g., Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act).
- Knowledge of competing in IOCs, NOCs, and service contractors.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Basic financial modeling for opportunity assessment.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze Nigeria content market opportunities and compliance requirements.
- Leverage existing NNPC, NUPRC, NUIMS contacts to identify business leads.
- Map stakeholders, build relationships, and facilitate introductions for senior leadership.
- Prepare market entry strategies, competitive analysis, and opportunity reports.
- Track regulatory changes impacting local content participation.
- Support tender preparation and proposal development for Nigerian projects.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align offerings with market needs.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends in the Nigerian energy sector.
- Present findings and recommendations to drive business growth decisions.
Qualification: BE/BBA/MBA or any equivalent qualification.
