Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven
Business Development / Account Manager to support growth within our India-based BPO operations. This role combines new‑business acquisition with strategic account management, ensuring long-term client success and expansion. The ideal candidate brings strong BPO industry knowledge, consultative selling skills, and the ability to build trusted client relationships across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities across international markets (US, UK, APAC, ANZ, MEA).
- Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for BPO service lines (customer service, sales, technical support, back‑office, F&A, healthcare, etc.).
- Conduct needs assessments, pitch tailored solutions, and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation → solution positioning → pricing → contract negotiation → closure.
- Collaborate with delivery, operations, and solution design teams to create winning RFP/RFI responses.
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and alignment to SLAs/KPIs.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs), performance analysis, and continuous improvement planning.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to expand existing account revenue.
- Address client escalations in coordination with operations, quality, and workforce teams.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and CRM updates.
Market & Industry Intelligence
- Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing benchmarks in the global BPO landscape.
- Provide insights to leadership for service improvement and new product/service development.
- Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and webinars to build brand presence.
Required Qualifications
- 4–10 years of experience in BPO sales, business development, or account management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing account revenue.
- Strong understanding of BPO delivery models (onshore/offshore/hybrid), SLAs, KPIs, and workforce management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with global clients and multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to sectors such as Utilities, BFSI, Telecom, Retail, E‑commerce, Healthcare, EdTech, or Travel.
- Understanding of digital solutions (RPA, AI/ML‑enabled processes, analytics, CX tools).
- Ability to work US/UK/ANZ shifts depending on client geography.
- MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
