Job details:
About the role
We build AI solutions and agentic workflows for manufacturers and logistics companies — replacing slow, manual, spreadsheet-driven processes with systems that run themselves.
This is a door-opening role, not a closing role. Your job is to find companies with a real problem worth solving, get to the person who owns that problem, and get us in the room. The founder handles the technical conversation, the proposal, and the close. You own everything that happens before that.
What you'll actually do
- Work your existing network in manufacturing and logistics to generate first conversations.
- Build new pipeline through outbound, industry associations, trade events, and plant visits.
- Run structured digital outreach — LinkedIn, email sequences, targeted lists — alongside the relationship-led work. We'll give you the tools; you bring the willingness to use them properly.
- Have the first conversation properly — understand what's actually broken in their operation, not just collect a business card.
- Qualify hard. A meeting with the wrong person is worse than no meeting.
- Get the decision maker — plant head, COO, supply chain head, MD — into a room with the founder, briefed and interested.
- Stay in the loop after the handoff: follow-ups, scheduling, keeping deals from going cold.
What we're looking for
- Real experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, or logistics companies. This is non-negotiable — you should already know how these organisations buy and who actually signs.
- An existing network you can call today.
- Willingness to learn digital outreach. - If you've only ever sold through referrals and relationships, that's fine — but you need to genuinely want to learn the other half, and we're an AI company, so you'll be expected to use the tooling.
- The judgement to tell a genuine need from polite interest, and the discipline to walk away from the second one.
- Comfort on a shop floor or in a warehouse — you should be able to hold a conversation about rejections, downtime, dispatch delays, or inventory without it sounding rehearsed.
- Enough curiosity about AI to explain, in plain language, what we do and why it's different. You won't need to go technical — that's our job.
Nice to have
- Background selling ERP, automation, industrial software, or consulting services.
- Exposure to SAP / ERPNext / Oracle environments or quality and production systems.
- Hands-on experience with CRM, sequencing, or lead-gen tools.
- Experience as an early BD hire somewhere small.
What you get
- [Base + incentive on qualified meetings + commission on closed deals]
- You're not carrying a closing quota. You're measured on qualified meetings that convert to opportunities.
- Direct working relationship with the founder — you'll be in every meeting you set.
- An early category with curious buyers and thin competition.
