Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will lead Rebco Ventures’ growth agenda by identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue across both our Pune and Maharashtra operations. This is a leadership-oriented role that requires a blend of strategic vision and on-ground execution. You will own the business development pipeline end-to-end — from prospecting and pitching to deal closure — while mentoring junior team members and reporting directly to senior leadership. We are looking for a professional with 2+ years of relevant experience who is ready to step into a high-ownership role and make a measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute the business development strategy across Rebco Ventures’ target markets in Pune and Maharashtra.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities, including client acquisition, Subscription Model, investor relations, channel partnerships, and market expansion.
• Own and manage the full business development cycle — from lead generation and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Build and sustain a high-value network of clients, real estate investors, brokers, developers, and institutional partners.
• Lead client presentations, site walkthroughs, and strategic pitches, representing Rebco Ventures with credibility and professionalism.
• Collaborate closely with the acquisitions, legal, and finance teams to structure and close deals in alignment with company goals.
• Develop market intelligence reports, competitor analyses, and opportunity assessments to guide strategic decision-making.
• Set, monitor, and report on business development KPIs, pipeline health, and revenue targets on a regular basis.
• Mentor and guide Business Development Associates and junior team members to build a high-performing BD function.
• Represent Rebco Ventures at industry conferences, real estate forums, investor meets, and community events.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
• 2+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships — preferably in real estate, construction, or property development.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets and closing significant deals.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite and investors.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and commercial acumen.
• Comfortable operating across both Baner, Pune and Chiplun, Maharashtra with willingness to travel as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
Preferred:
• Established network of real estate investors, HNI clients, brokers, or institutional partners in the Maharashtra market.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring a business development or sales team.
• Exposure to land acquisition, real estate investment structuring, or project development cycles.
• Proficiency in Marathi or Hindi in addition to English is a strong advantage.
