Role Description
We are seeking an Associate Consultant for a hybrid role based in Guwahati, with flexibility for some remote work. This is a full-time position where you will guide students in identifying the most suitable paths for their career goals through personalized counseling. Responsibilities include assisting with university applications, scholarship recommendations, visa processes, and providing ongoing support such as advice about accommodation and opportunities for part-time jobs and internships abroad. Collaboration, research, and building trusted client relationships are key to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Career counseling and guidance skills, including the ability to assess student profiles and align them with suitable academic and professional opportunities.
- Strong adaptability skill with basic knowledge in university admission documentations, scholarships, and calling candidates on regular basis.
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and counseling sessions.
- Organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple student cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to provide tailored recommendations based on individual needs.
- Strong research skills to stay updated on university rankings, courses, funding, and employment opportunities abroad.
- Proficiency in technology, including tools for managing student data and virtual communication platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in any field (Btech/MBA looking for jobs can as well apply)
- Familiarity with international education systems and prior experience in educational consulting is a plus.
