Role: Business Data Analyst

Overview:
We are looking to engage with skilled Business Analysts who bring strong experience in data-driven environments, with the ability to translate business needs into structured, scalable Data Products.
This role acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, data teams, and technology, ensuring that data requirements are clearly defined, governed, and delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and data requirements
- Translate business problems into data use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support definition of Data Products including scope, objectives, and success metrics
- Perform data discovery, profiling, and gap analysis across source systems
- Ensure alignment with data governance, quality, privacy, and control frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through agile delivery cycles
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics-driven initiatives
- Strong understanding of data concepts (entities, attributes, metrics, data flows)
- Experience working on data platforms, reporting, or Data Product initiatives
- Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience in regulated or control-driven environments
Good to have:
- Exposure to data modelling concepts
- Experience with data governance, quality, or regulatory initiatives
- Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Exposure to data modernization or migration programs
