Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Data Analyst role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Business Data Analyst will collect, clean, and analyze data from various internal systems and business processes to generate actionable insights for Gold loan operations. The role involves building and maintaining dashboards and reports, performing statistical analyses, and supporting data-driven decision-making for sales, operations, and risk teams. The analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into analytical models, and present findings in a clear, structured manner. Day-to-day responsibilities also include monitoring performance metrics, identifying trends and anomalies, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and overall business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to interpret complex data sets and business trends.
- Proficiency in data analytics and data modeling, including experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, or similar technologies.
- Solid foundation in statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, and basic predictive analysis relevant to financial services.
- Effective communication skills for presenting data-driven insights, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in financial services, FinTech, or banking analytics is advantageous, especially in retail lending or insurance domains.
- Ability to work with large datasets, attention to detail, and a commitment to data quality and integrity.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site environment in the Greater Bengaluru Area and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
