Role Description The Business Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This role involves counseling prospective and current learners on suitable export-import courses, career paths, and business opportunities in international trade. The Business Counselor will conduct one-on-one consultations, lead small group sessions, and support workshops by clarifying course content, industry expectations, and practical applications. Daily tasks include assessing learner goals, providing tailored guidance, maintaining accurate records of counseling sessions, and collaborating with faculty and management to improve student outcomes. The role also includes supporting outreach initiatives, responding to inquiries, and contributing to process improvements that enhance the learner experience and institute growth.

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess learner profiles, business scenarios, and market opportunities.
- Candidates should possess Consulting and Management Consulting skills to provide structured guidance on course selection, career planning, and business strategy.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear, professional, and empathetic interaction with learners and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to explain basic financial aspects of export-import operations and business planning.
- Relevant experience in counseling, career guidance, business advisory, or education services is beneficial.
- Knowledge of international trade, export-import processes, or related business domains is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Management, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, manage multiple consultations, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
