We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity professional based in Bangalore to support US and India operations. This mid-management role will collaborate with senior leadership to maintain an effective business continuity framework aligned with global requirements, with strong expertise in enterprise BCP and cyber risk frameworks. This role has a primary requirement to work closely with US business teams supporting US business hours
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain an ISO 22301–aligned BCMS across Voya’s technology and business operations
- Drive plan walkthroughs and BIAs to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery targets (RTO/RPO)
- Partner with Plan Owners/Coordinators to complete the annual BCP lifecycle (BIA, plan updates, walkthroughs, approvals)
- Design and execute tabletop exercises, using outcomes to enhance readiness and plan effectiveness
- Develop playbooks and dynamic response documentation for key risk scenarios
- Support Plan Owners during incidents, including off-hours if required
- Collaborate with the Business Resiliency Office on site/enterprise crisis management and communications
- Validate cyber resilience playbooks and response strategies for critical applications, in collaboration with disaster recovery teams
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- A Business Continuity professional with a minimum of 18 year's experience.
- Should be willing to work as an individual contributor.
- Ability to support during US hours i.e. 5:00 pm to 1:00 am IST
Job Description
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within an enterprise business resilience or business continuity role.
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with challenging and changing situations.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure and with aggressive time constraints.
- Knowledge of Business Continuity areas (BC Planning / Documentation, BIA, Crisis Management).
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to work as a member of a geographically diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation, and reporting.
- Must be available for ‘on-call’ duties in support of any incidents or events occur outside business hours.
- Support the development and maturity of the enterprise Operational Resilience Framework.
- Identify and assess critical business services and associated resiliency requirements.
- Facilitate dependency mapping across people, process, technology, facilities, data, and third-party providers.
- Evaluate resiliency risks and recommend mitigation strategies to improve recovery capability.
- Partner with business leaders to establish and validate impact tolerances and recovery objectives.
- Develop resilience metrics, reporting, and executive dashboards.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in managing Business Continuity Planning
- BCP certification CBCP, CBCI, MBCP, MBCI, CISSP is desirable.
