Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients, understanding their financial needs and providing them with appropriate solutions
- Identify and acquire new business clients through various channels such as referrals, networking, and cold calling
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of potential clients to assess creditworthiness and risk
- Prepare and present credit proposals to the credit committee for approval
- Monitor and manage the performance of the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with internal teams such as product, operations, and credit to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
- Stay updated on market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities and improve existing products and services
- Achieve individual and team targets for business growth and profitability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business banking or commercial lending
- Strong understanding of financial products and services, particularly in the SME segment
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing business clients
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
- Knowledge of local market and competition is preferred
- Must be willing to travel for client meetings and business development activities
