Job Title: Business Analyst (Strategic Operations)
Reports To: President
Department: MIL- Technology
Location: Mumbai
The Business Analyst will oversee and analyse key business functions including Sales, Operations, and Software Development. This role is responsible for monitoring performance, ensuring cross-functional alignment, tracking execution against strategic objectives, and providing actionable insights to support executive decision-making. The Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between leadership and functional teams, ensuring transparency, accountability, and progress across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, business processes, and software development lifecycles.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership or executive stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preference
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Experience in technology-driven or software-based organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate business performance across Sales, Operations, and Software Development.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports.
- Provide regular summaries, insights, and recommendations to the Management on risks, opportunities, and progress toward company goals.
- Track execution of strategic initiatives and follow up on action items across departments
- Analyze sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and revenue trends.
· Identify gaps in sales processes, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
· Work with sales leadership to improve reporting, metrics, and performance visibility.
· Evaluate operational workflows, resource utilization, and efficiency across departments.
· Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
· Track software development progress, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
· Ensure alignment between product requirements, business objectives, and development execution.
· Monitor risks, dependencies, and resource constraints in development projects.
· Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and QA teams to improve
· Facilitate communication and alignment between Sales, Operations, and Development teams.
· Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems and sources.
· Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership.
