About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and insightful Business Analyst / Market Researcher with strong expertise in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and therapeutic assessments, translating complex data into actionable insights, and delivering high-quality reports to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary and primary research to gather and analyze market trends, clinical trials, drug pipelines, product portfolios, and competitive landscapes.
- Prepare company profiles, competitive intelligence reports, and SWOT analyses to support business strategies.
- Analyze regulatory filings, drug approvals, patent & trademark searches, and development activities for molecules and therapies.
- Perform regional assessments and therapeutic area evaluations to guide market entry, expansion, and product development.
- Support product launch strategies, pipeline assessments, and clinical trial analysis with data-driven insights.
- Convert research findings into structured, professional reports in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats tailored to client requirements.
- Present insights clearly, helping clients navigate complex healthcare challenges and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Pharma (Pharmaceutics) – Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, PGIMS.
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical research, market analysis, and business intelligence.
- Strong understanding of drug development lifecycle, therapeutic areas, and regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in secondary research, primary research, SWOT analysis, competitive strategies, and clinical trial analysis.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to present complex data concisely.
- Passionate about solving client challenges and contributing to healthcare innovation.
