Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical L4 Business Analyst to support our Consumer Electronics category team (Amazon India). This role combines technical analytical capabilities with operational excellence to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights and
vendor/seller relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
1) Analytics & Technical Execution
- Develop and maintain complex Excel models, dashboards, and reports to track category performance metrics
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple data sources
- Build automated reporting solutions using Python or similar programming languages
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on business trends, customer behavior, and operational efficiency
- Create data visualizations and presentations for leadership reviews
2) Business Operations & Vendor Management
- Manage day-to-day operations with vendor partners and seller teams to ensure seamless business execution
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives between internal teams and external partners
- Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Support vendor on-boarding, performance reviews, and business planning activities
- Resolve operational issues and escalations in a timely manner
3) Business Analysis
- Partner with category managers to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform category strategies
- Document processes, create SOPs, and maintain knowledge repositories
Required Qualifications
1)Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, complex
- formulas)
- Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries, joins, and aggregations
- Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight)
- Familiarity with database management and data warehousing concepts
2)Business & Operational Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in business analyst or similar analytical roles
- Proven experience in vendor management and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong understanding of e-commerce or retail operations
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
Soft Skills
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Experience in Consumer Electronics or related categories
- Knowledge of Amazon systems and tools
- Experience with AWS services or cloud-based analytics platforms
Work Arrangement
This position requires full-time presence at the BLR-37 office in Bangalore. The role requires
5 days per week in-office attendance with no remote working options.
