Role Summary
The Business Analyst – Logistics & Operations drives data‑led performance management across end‑to‑end logistics operations. The role focuses on operational KPI analysis, Power BI reporting, and translating complex data into actionable insights for operations, management, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse end‑to‑end logistics processes: inbound, outbound, storage, throughput, capacity, and service levels.
- Identify performance trends, bottlenecks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Perform deep‑dive analysis on operational KPIs such as productivity, utilisation, dwell time, throughput, cost, and exceptions.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for logistics and operational performance.
- Translate analysis into clear, intuitive visualisations and business narratives.
- Partner with Power BI Developers to ensure:
- Correct data structure and granularity
- Consistent KPI definitions
- Alignment with analytics standards and governance
- Work closely with logistics, operations, and control room teams to:
- Gather business requirements
- Define KPIs, metrics, targets, and assumptions
- Document business logic, calculations, and assumptions as functional requirements.
- Validate and reconcile data across systems (e.g. WMS, TMS, operational platforms).
- Act as a trusted reviewer of logistics analytics outputs.
- Present insights and recommendations to operational leaders.
- Support performance reviews, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track impact of improvement actions and performance changes over time.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in business analysis within logistics, supply chain, or operations.
- Strong understanding of operational KPIs and performance drivers.
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI and KPI‑driven reporting.
- Ability to work with complex, multi‑source operational data.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to convert data into actionable insights and decisions.
Note: Candidates residing in nearby locations viz; Thanisandra, Hebbal, Yelahanka, Nagawara, Sahakar Nagar, Manyata Tech Park, Hegde Nagar or Jakkur will be preferred.
