Summary:The Business Analyst will support initiatives related to process improvement, automation, and business analysis. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to document business processes, identify improvement opportunities, support Six Sigma projects, and assist in automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into clear documentation.
Responsibilities:- Process Documentation & Mapping:
- Document existing business processes using tools such as process maps, SOPs, and workflow diagrams.
- Conduct stakeholder discussions to understand current processes and pain points.
- Maintain and update process documentation repositories.
- Support the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process guidelines.
- Process Improvement & Six Sigma Support:
- Assist in Six Sigma / process improvement initiatives by collecting and analysing process data.
- Support project teams in identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in root cause analysis sessions and process workshops.
- Help track project progress, benefits, and performance metrics.
- Automation & Digital Initiatives:
- Support automation opportunities such as RPA, workflow automation, or system enhancements.
- Gather and document business requirements for automation projects.
- Work with technology teams to ensure automation solutions align with business needs.
- Assist in testing and validating automation solutions before deployment.
- Business Analysis & Stakeholder Support:
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and documentation.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and project documentation.
- Support project managers in tracking deliverables and timelines.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 0-3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or related roles
- Exposure to process documentation or automation projects is preferred
Required Skills:- Process Mapping tools (ARIS, Signavio etc.)
- Basic understanding of Six Sigma / Lean methodologies
- Strong documentation and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of automation concepts (RPA, workflow tools, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Preferred Skills:- Certification or training in Lean / Six Sigma (Yellow Belt preferred)
- Exposure to automation tools (RPA, Power Automate, etc.)
- Experience in process mapping and business requirement documentation
