Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst - Business Intelligence for a full-time, remote position. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
As a BI Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and enhancing our business intelligence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and availability
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of BI solutions and recommend improvements
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or QlikView
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like Azure
