For Senior Role- VP Grade- Min 6+ Years of experience working as a ServiceNow Business Analyst
For Mid Role- AVP Grade- Min 4+ Years of experience working as a ServiceNow Business Analyst
Role Overview
The ServiceNow ITAM Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and supporting the delivery of capabilities across IT Asset Management (HAM/SAM), CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM modules. The role requires deep functional understanding of ServiceNow, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across architecture, development, testing, and operational stakeholders.

Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications
• Hands on experience with ServiceNow ITOM Development including Discovery and CMDB.
• Hands on experience with Service Mapping, creating Service Maps via automated discovery, creating/updating discovery patterns, and troubleshooting discovery patterns.
• Good understanding of network fundamentals, design, and architecture.
• Ability to obtain and analyse/interpret business requirements to propose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
• Ability to coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues.
• Ability to answer “how to” technical and application configuration questions for stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM development including IPC and Service Catalog.
• Ability to update and maintain comprehensive testing protocols for ServiceNow instance upgrades to certify applications post upgrade.
• Ability to create and maintain system design and operations documentation.
• Working experience with ServiceNow product lifecycle, reporting, and Performance Analytics.

Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes.
• Experience with CMDB and IT Asset Management.
• Hands on experience with ServiceNow SAM Professional or similar SAM toolset.
• Hands on experience with ServiceNow HAM Professional or similar HAM toolset.
• Exposure to Vendor Contract Management.
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and control frameworks.
