A Business Analyst (BA) is required to support the delivery of the enterprise scale Network Segmentation and Anti–Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) projects. The role bridges business, security, network engineering, and delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, risks are understood, and solutions are delivered in line with security, regulatory, and operational objectives.
A Business Analyst (BA) is required to support the delivery of the enterprise scale Network Segmentation and Anti–Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) projects. The role bridges business, security, network engineering, and delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, risks are understood, and solutions are delivered in line with security, regulatory, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for network segmentation and anti-DDoS projects
- Translate security and risk objectives into clear, testable requirements and user stories
- Document current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) network and security processes
- Identify dependencies, constraints, and impacts across infrastructure, applications, and business services
- Act as a liaison between Cyber Security, Network Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Business Stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and design sessions to gain agreement on scope and requirements
- Support senior stakeholders with clear artefacts, impact assessments, and decision support
Delivery & Change Support:
- Support Agile or hybrid delivery teams with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria
- Assist with risk identification, issue management, and mitigation relating to segmentation and DDoS controls
- Support testing, operational readiness, and service transition activities
- Contribute to change impact assessments change management and support adoption of new security controls
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation such as:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Specifications
- Process Flows and Data Flows
- Security and control mappings
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
