Job Description – Business Analyst (BA – DIH)
Role: Business Analyst – DIH
Domain: Private Equity / Private Credit (Buy-Side)
Experience: 6–10 Years
Location: Bangalore/Pune
Mode: Hybrid
Notice: Immediate to 15 days
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong exposure to Private Equity and Private Credit within Buy-Side institutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to support initiatives related to DIH (Data Integration Hub / Digital Integration Hub) implementations and enhancements. The role involves gathering business requirements, performing data analysis, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions supporting investment management operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with investment teams, operations, and technology teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze and document Private Equity and Private Credit workflows including fund lifecycle, deal management, capital calls, distributions, and reporting.
- Support DIH platform implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
- Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, and process documentation.
- Perform gap analysis and functional design for system enhancements.
- Collaborate with technology teams on data integration, APIs, and system interfaces.
- Conduct data analysis, mapping, and validation across upstream and downstream systems.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
- Work with Buy-Side stakeholders such as portfolio managers, fund administrators, and operations teams.
- Ensure alignment with investment data, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
Domain Skills
- Strong experience in Private Equity and/or Private Credit domain.
- Good understanding of Buy-Side investment management operations.
- Knowledge of fund lifecycle:
- Capital Calls
- Distributions
- Investor reporting
- Portfolio monitoring
- Deal lifecycle
Business Analysis Skills
- Requirement gathering and documentation (BRD / FRD / User Stories).
- Process modelling and workflow documentation.
- Stakeholder management.
Data & Technology
- Experience with DIH / Data Integration Hub platforms or similar data integration solutions.
- Understanding of data mapping, APIs, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools is preferred.
Tools

- Excel / Visio
- Agile / Scrum methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Buy-Side firms (Asset Managers, Investment Firms, Private Equity Firms).
- Exposure to Investment Data Platforms / Data Lakes / Integration Platforms.
- Knowledge of fund accounting or investment data management systems.
- Certifications in Agile / Business Analysis / Finance (CFA preferred).
