About Us:
Ninestars is an AI-native company, automating complex content and data workflows at scale. Over the last 25+ years, we have powered digital transformation of leading media & publishers, media monitoring & licensing agencies, content aggregators, and edtech firms worldwide. We have an expanding presence in Life Sciences, particularly Pharma, where we automate packaging artwork processes with great accuracy and compliance. Leveraging the proprietary AOTM AI platform, Ninestars combines AI innovation with Ops excellence to deliver long-term customer value. Today, we are extending that foundation into the Agentic AI era, where systems move beyond assistance to autonomy, execution, and measurable operational impact.
Role Summary Ninestars is seeking a Business Analyst and Technical Support professional to be deployed onsite at a leading life sciences client in Hyderabad. In the day-to-day role, the person provides functional and technical support for AOTM AI and serves as the onsite point of contact for the client’s users. Alongside this, the role calls for strong business analysis and process understanding, working closely with client teams. Issue resolution is delivered in partnership with Ninestars product and engineering teams, who own fixes and product changes; the onsite role owns triage, reproduction, coordination, and closure with the client.
The ideal candidate combines dependable support delivery with the analytical depth to understand complex processes and represent them faithfully back to the Ninestars delivery organization. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable resolving day-to-day issues onsite and mapping the broader business landscape in a structured, professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
Support and Onsite Delivery
- Act as the onsite point of contact for AOTM AI, handling functional queries, issue triage, and coordinated resolution with Ninestars product and engineering teams.
- Support configuration, user onboarding, testing, and change activities across the deployment.
- Maintain support documentation, track issues to closure, and report on system health and usage.
Business Analysis and Process Understanding
- Engage client stakeholders to understand and document business, audit, quality, and compliance processes, capturing workflows, systems, handoffs, and pain points.
- Produce clear current-state process documentation, requirement specifications, and analysis that can be shared with and readily understood by the Ninestars delivery organization.
- Identify areas where processes can be improved, streamlined, or supported more effectively, and document them with sufficient clarity to support planning and estimation.
Coordination and Reporting
- Support project planning, status tracking, and reporting in coordination with the Ninestars Delivery Lead.
- Coordinate requirement gathering, user acceptance testing, and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain project artifacts including requirement documents, meeting notes, and status reports.
Required Skills and Experience
- Full-time MBA from a reputed business school, preferably with a focus on operations, business analysis, or life sciences management.
- Four to five years of overall experience, including at least three years in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare domain.
- Working understanding of logistics and third-party logistics operations, freight and transportation invoicing, and accounts payable processes, including the ability to read and interpret rate cards, tariffs, and accessorial charges.
- Working knowledge of GxP processes and regulated ways of working, with an understanding of how compliance requirements shape day-to-day operations.
- Sound understanding of the life sciences supply chain, including artwork, labelling, and packaging processes and the controls that govern them.
- Strong business analysis capability, including the ability to elicit, map, and document complex processes accurately.
- Ability to learn a multi-module enterprise platform quickly and to articulate its capabilities credibly to business and functional stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of project management concepts and delivery methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office. Advanced Excel is essential, including pivot tables, lookups, and working comfortably with large reconciliation datasets. Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or an equivalent process-mapping tool are also required.
- Practical, hands-on use of AI tools and assistants for process analysis, data summarization, documentation, and drafting, with a clear willingness to adopt AI-assisted ways of working.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence working directly with senior client stakeholders onsite.
Preferred
- Exposure to audit, quality, or regulated environments aligned to GxP practices.
- Familiarity with requirement or ticketing tools.
- Prior experience supporting a product deployment onsite at a client. What Defines Success Success in this role is measured against clear, observable outcomes.
- Within the first two months: onboard client teams onto AOTM AuditX, independently handling routine functional queries, with triage and escalation to Ninestars product and engineering teams operating reliably.
- On an ongoing basis: issues tracked to closure within agreed timelines, status and usage reporting maintained without prompting, and user acceptance testing cycles supported end to end.
- On an ongoing basis: a current and documented view of the client’s process landscape, with improvement opportunities captured clearly enough to support planning and estimation.
Over time, the person is expected to become the reliable onsite owner of AOTM support and a trusted source of process knowledge, positioning Ninestars to support additional, well-scoped work.
