About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a focus on Human Capital Management (HCM) systems to join our HR Solutions team at Luxoft India. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end HR technology solutions that support our global HR processes across the AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions. Your primary focus will be on the development, enhancement, and maintenance of HR IT platforms that serve as the backbone of employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, employee data management, leave processing, allowances, documentation, and exit procedures. You will collaborate closely with HR stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience as an HCM Business Analyst or HRMS Analyst, with demonstrated expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM implementations or upgrades. Certification as an Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud Implementation Specialist (2023 or newer) is highly preferred. Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering full-cycle HCM projects, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare support. Experience with migration projects from PeopleSoft HRMS to Oracle HCM Cloud, particularly in core HR, payroll, absence, and benefits modules, is advantageous. A strong understanding of statutory requirements across EMEA, AMER, and APAC regions, along with knowledge of compliance, system vulnerabilities, and disaster recovery strategies, is essential. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills are required to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Document functional specifications, business requirement documents (BRD), functional and technical design documents (FSD), process flows, acceptance criteria, and use case diagrams to ensure clear and comprehensive understanding of project scope.
- Engage with HR business stakeholders through workshops and meetings to understand their needs, challenges, and strategic objectives, translating these into actionable project roadmaps that align with the HR vision.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify system deficiencies, provide impact assessments, and recommend practical, efficient solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define detailed business requirements using Agile methodologies, leveraging tools such as Jira to manage and track user stories and epics.
- Mentor and coach junior Business Analysts on Agile and Scrum practices to promote best practices within the team and ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Prepare detailed EPICs and user stories, ensuring each includes clear acceptance criteria to facilitate smooth development and testing processes.
- Review QA test plans and strategies, actively participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), and obtain sign-offs to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
- Promote best practices, standards, and consistency across all teams involved in HR system development and deployment.
- Develop comprehensive training materials, user guides, and documentation for HR end-users and administrators to facilitate smooth adoption and ongoing support.
- Support the rollout and change management activities, including communication planning, pilot testing, and post-go-live hypercare to ensure a successful transition.
