Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Business Analyst based in Jalandhar. The Business Analyst will be responsible for assessing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and documenting business requirements. Daily tasks include coordinating with stakeholders, analyzing data patterns, designing process enhancements, and preparing detailed reports. The role involves facilitating communication between technical teams and business units to achieve strategic objectives and ensure solutions align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Analysis & Strategy- Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with leadership to define business goals and translate them into actionable insights.
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and ROI analyses for strategic initiatives.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting- Interpret complex datasets to generate meaningful insights and trends.
- Design and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and KPIs for various departments.
- Support data-driven decision-making across academic and administrative functions.
3. Stakeholder Management- Work closely with cross-functional teams including admissions, placements, marketing, and IT.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users.
4. Process Optimization & Automation- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and digital transformation.
- Recommend tools, technologies, and system enhancements.
- Lead process re-engineering initiatives to enhance productivity.
5. Project Management Support- Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of key projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables.
6. Market & Industry Research- Conduct benchmarking studies and competitor analysis.
- Identify emerging trends in higher education and business analytics.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on market insights.
Key Skills & Competencies- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel Advanced)
- Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Understanding of ERP/CRM systems
- Strategic thinking with a data-driven mindset
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Economics, or related field
- MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred
- Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) will be an added advantage
