Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst who will be responsible for both Business Analytics and Sales Forecasting. The role will support business performance measurement while also driving data-backed demand forecasting and commercial insights.
This position bridges R&D, Sales, and Operations, ensuring that brand investments translate into measurable revenue growth and predictable demand planning.
Key Responsibilities
A. Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning
· Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts (SKU-wise and channel-wise).
· Perform time-series analysis to identify seasonality, trends, and demand fluctuations.
· Develop forecast models using historical sales data, campaign impact, and market variables.
· Support inventory planning through demand projections.
· Analyze sales variance vs forecast and identify root causes.
· Provide revenue projections and growth scenario modeling.
B. Commercial & Business Insights
· Analyze channel performance (Dealer, Distributor, Projects, E-commerce).
· Monitor contribution margin, product mix, and SKU profitability.
· Identify high-growth SKUs and slow-moving inventory.
· Support pricing analysis and promotional impact evaluation.
· Conduct competitor and market benchmarking where required.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or any related quantitative field.
· Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Data Analytics and sales forecasting.
· Strong hands-on experience in Power BI (dashboard development, DAX, data modeling).
· Working knowledge of SAP, Tally, Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros), and other related ERP/analytics tools.
· Knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) preferred.
· Experience with Google Analytics (GA4).
· Understanding of distribution/channel-based sales structure.
· Ability to convert business questions into structured analytical frameworks.
