Business Analyst
We're looking for a Business Analyst who solves problems through data and uses AI tools as a core part of how they work, not as an occasional shortcut. The domain changes depending on what the business needs: operations, marketing, customer experience etc. The core skill stays the same - take a messy, open-ended question and come back with a clear, data-backed answer.
For example: "returns are up 20% in Hyderabad this month." A report-runner tells you the number went up. The person we want figures out why. They pull return-reason data, cross-reference it with recent product launches or store changes, use an AI tool to quickly scan through hundreds of customer complaints for patterns, and come back with "it's sizing issues on the new collection, mostly from online orders."
What you'll do
* Answer open business questions end to end - from figuring out the right data to pull, to the analysis, to a clear recommendation.
* Proactively spot problems and opportunities in the data before someone asks. A sudden drop in repeat purchases, an SKU that's quietly outperforming, a warehouse that's consistently late.
* Understand the actual business process behind the numbers, not just the numbers themselves. Know how inventory moves, how a campaign reaches a customer, how a return gets processed - so your analysis catches what a pure data person would miss.
* Use AI tools to move faster - exploring data, testing hypotheses, scanning unstructured feedback for patterns, drafting reports. Always verify the output before sharing.
* Build automated reports or dashboards for questions that keep coming up, so people don't have to ask you every time.
* Document your analyses and methods so they're reusable. The next person (or future you) should be able to pick up where you left off without starting from scratch.
* Present findings in plain language - what the data means and what to do about it, not just numbers and charts.
* Work with different teams (marketing, retail, supply chain, etc.) to understand the real question behind what they're asking.
What we're looking for
* 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.
* Comfortable writing and optimizing SQL to pull and join data.
* Actually used AI tools to get real work done faster, not just tried them once.
* Can take a vague, open-ended question and break it into a clear plan on your own.
* Curious enough to dig into how something works, not just what the data says.
* Comfortable juggling a few requests at once without dropping any of them.
