About The Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Business Analyst or Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the successful implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial processes, extensive hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules, and a proven track record in managing complex multi-project environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and enhance financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on transformative projects within a global landscape, ensuring best practices and strategic alignment across multiple applications and business units.
Qualifications
- Graduate in an area such as information technology, applied mathematics, engineering, or related fields.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Business Analyst or Consultant.
- Proven, multi-project experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including Central Finance or greenfield/brownfield implementations.
- Deep, practical experience utilizing the SAP Activate methodology for S/4HANA implementations.
- Expert-level configuration skills across all core SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
- Strong understanding of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules such as SD and MM.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- A background in finance or accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly beneficial.
- SAP S/4HANA FICO certification is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders regarding requirements and delivery.
- Experience working within Scrum and Agile environments.
- Demonstrated ability as a team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of adapting communication for diverse audiences.
- Learning agility, curiosity, creativity, and an innovative "out-of-the-box" approach.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and a focus on delivering solutions within short timeframes.
- Define the best fit between client needs and existing SAP solutions and technologies.
- Lead and facilitate SAP Activate methodology workshops, including Fit-to-Standard analysis, during the Explore phase to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze complex "As-Is" and "To-Be" financial processes, identifying opportunities for simplification and standardization within SAP S/4HANA.
- Configure SAP FICO modules to align with business needs, ensuring optimal functionality and integration.
- Develop detailed functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects).
- Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and implement integrations, enhancements, and reports.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Act as the SAP FICO subject matter expert, providing guidance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring best practices.
- Support change management initiatives, end-user training, and post-implementation activities to ensure smooth adoption.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with all project stakeholders, including team members and senior leadership.
- Contribute to project problem-solving and strategic decision-making processes.
- Understand the data business processes and technical architecture of the SAP landscape, particularly within Airbus environments.
- Drive the design and implementation of multiple applications concurrently, ensuring global consistency and strategic coherence across systems.
