About The Role
We are seeking experienced Finance Experts to join our team on a freelance basis. In this role, you will work closely with AI researchers to evaluate and improve the performance of AI models in financial contexts. Your expertise will help identify gaps, develop assessment frameworks, and contribute to the training of AI systems in areas such as corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, FP&A, private equity, and consulting. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your financial knowledge in an innovative environment, supporting the development of AI models that can revolutionize the finance industry. No prior AI experience is necessary, as training and collaboration will be provided.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, FP&A, accounting, or financial consulting. Candidates holding CFA (Level I/II/III), CA, CPA, or MBA in Finance are preferred. However, relevant on-the-job experience and specialized training will also be considered. A strong understanding of core financial concepts such as corporate finance, investment analysis, asset management, and risk management is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate model outputs in finance-related tasks, identifying areas where models underperform or produce inaccurate results.
- Develop structured rubrics and assessment frameworks tailored to specialized financial domains, including deal analysis, M&A evaluations, and investment scenarios.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow finance experts to design effective training methodologies, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks for AI systems.
- Provide domain-specific insights to enhance model accuracy and relevance in financial applications.
- Participate in regular meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and refine evaluation processes.
- Document findings, methodologies, and recommendations to facilitate continuous improvement of AI models.
