About The Role
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Finance Experts to join our innovative team. This role involves collaborating with AI researchers to improve the performance of AI models specifically within the finance domain. As a Finance Expert at Welpora, you will leverage your domain knowledge in areas such as corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, FP&A, private equity, and consulting to evaluate and refine AI systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your financial expertise in a cutting-edge technological environment, contributing to the development of advanced AI models that can revolutionize financial analysis and decision-making. No prior AI experience is required, making this an ideal position for finance professionals eager to explore the intersection of finance and artificial intelligence.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, FP&A, accounting, or financial consulting. A strong understanding of core financial concepts such as corporate finance, investment analysis, asset management, and risk management is essential. Candidates holding professional qualifications like CFA (Level I/II/III), CA, CPA, or MBA in Finance are preferred. However, relevant on-job experience combined with comprehensive training will also be considered. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and articulate findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI model outputs in finance-related tasks to identify performance gaps and areas for improvement.
- Develop structured rubrics and assessment frameworks for specialized financial domains such as deal analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and investment scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers and fellow finance experts to design effective training methodologies, evaluation strategies, and benchmarking standards.
- Contribute to the creation of high-quality datasets and evaluation metrics that improve the accuracy and reliability of AI systems in finance.
- Participate in regular review sessions to analyze model performance and suggest enhancements based on domain expertise.
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluation processes, findings, and recommendations to support ongoing model development.
