About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced LoanIQ Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and functionality of LoanIQ modules used in our clients' lending operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate end-to-end loan lifecycle processes. Your expertise will help identify system issues, improve testing procedures, and support successful implementation and upgrades of LoanIQ systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within a fast-paced financial technology environment, ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable solutions to our clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in financial technology testing, specifically within the LoanIQ environment. A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in LoanIQ testing is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the commercial lending and corporate banking domain, including loan lifecycle management, syndication, interest calculations, and fee processing. Proficiency in SQL for data validation, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and experience with testing tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar are essential. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related fields is preferred. Certifications related to testing or financial systems will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for LoanIQ modules to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Validate end-to-end loan lifecycle processes including deal setup, drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, fees, amendments, and payoffs.
- Create detailed test cases based on Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) to cover various testing scenarios.
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution and communication with relevant teams.
- Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in release cycles, perform production validation, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and UAT phases to ensure seamless deployment.
- Assist in the automation of test cases using tools like Selenium or similar to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Support system upgrades, implementation projects, and interface testing, including APIs, to ensure system compatibility and performance.
