About The Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Business Analyst to join our global SAP programme on a long-term freelance basis. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of SAP modules across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), complemented by cross-functional expertise in Materials Management (MM) and Finance (FI). The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and support implementation activities, particularly within pharmaceutical or MedTech environments. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, operating within Central European Time (CET) hours, and presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale SAP transformation project.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong SAP SD expertise with a proven track record in business analysis within SAP environments. A solid understanding of cross-functional modules such as SAP MM and SAP FI is essential. Candidates should possess a comprehensive knowledge of order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, and invoicing, along with integration points between SD, MM, and FI. Experience working in pharmaceutical or MedTech sectors is highly desirable, providing contextual understanding of industry-specific processes and compliance standards. Familiarity with S/4HANA environments is preferred, along with experience in SAP implementation, rollout, or transformation projects. Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional teams are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will be responsible for engaging with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements across SAP SD, MM, and FI processes. They will translate business needs into functional specifications and support the design of technical solutions. Leading workshops, conducting fit-gap analyses, and aligning processes are key activities to ensure solutions meet business objectives. The role involves supporting end-to-end process design, ensuring integration points are optimized, and working closely with technical teams to facilitate successful delivery. The analyst will support configuration validation, testing (including System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing), and resolution of defects. Additionally, they will assist with data migration activities, ensuring data integrity across modules, and contribute to cutover planning, go-live support, and post-implementation hypercare. Maintaining comprehensive documentation aligned with project standards, such as Solution Manager and JIRA, is also a vital part of the responsibilities.
Benefits
Brabers offers a comprehensive package for this long-term freelance role, including the flexibility of fully remote working arrangements. The position provides an opportunity to be part of a large-scale SAP transformation programme, working within a collaborative, fast-paced environment that encourages innovation and professional growth. Freelancers will benefit from exposure to cutting-edge SAP technologies and methodologies, along with the chance to develop their expertise within the pharmaceutical and MedTech industries. The company supports a healthy work-life balance and values the contributions of its team members, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
