About The Role
The Oracle Finance Business Analyst at Knowles Corporation plays a pivotal role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing Oracle ERP Finance solutions across a global enterprise environment. This position requires a deep understanding of finance processes, system configuration, and functional solution design to ensure seamless financial operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, and IT teams to analyze end-to-end finance workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement system enhancements that align with business objectives. This role involves providing ongoing production support, managing system upgrades, and delivering training to ensure maximum utilization and efficiency of Oracle Financials modules. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization committed to technological advancement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience supporting Oracle ERP applications, with a strong focus on Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. Demonstrated success in leading at least two full Oracle ERP implementations from initiation through go-live is essential, along with at least five years of providing lead-level application support. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in Oracle AIM methodology, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Oracle Forms and Reports, and reporting tools such as Oracle Discoverer or BI is also necessary. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate a strong analytical mindset with the ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively in a multicultural, global environment.
Responsibilities
Analyzing end-to-end finance processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, and designing solutions leveraging Oracle ERP Financials to enhance operational efficiency. Translating business requirements into functional designs that support accounting, reporting, and compliance objectives. Evaluating Oracle tools, reports, and features to recommend optimal solutions for finance stakeholders. Gathering new finance process and reporting requirements, conducting feasibility analyses, and providing clear, actionable recommendations.
Providing ongoing production support for Oracle ERP Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, across various geographic regions. Troubleshooting and resolving application, data, and process issues to maintain system stability, data integrity, and timely financial close cycles. Supporting and administering finance modules, including Customer Master and Pricing support for Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams. Escalating risks and issues to senior management as appropriate.
Managing and executing prioritized system enhancements, developing functional design documents, business requirements, and test plans. Collaborating with technical teams during solution build, deployment, and upgrades. Leading user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing to ensure system readiness. Delivering comprehensive end-user training and documentation to facilitate adoption and ensure compliance. Participating in Oracle Financials upgrades, patches, and new functionality implementations to keep systems current and optimized. Contributing to the development of training programs to increase system awareness and proficiency across regions.
