Job Summary
Infosys is looking for a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst to join its delivery team in India. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who want to build a career in business analysis while working on global client projects across domains such as Banking, Retail, Healthcare, and Telecom.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and functional specifications
- Assist in analyzing business processes and identifying improvements
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management
- Perform data analysis using Excel or reporting tools
- Work within Agile teams (Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups)
- Maintain documentation using tools like Jira and Confluence
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Business Analysis & SDLC
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IT services environment
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL / Power BI / Data Analysis
- Internship or academic project experience in BA
- Exposure to domains like Banking, Finance, or E-commerce
- Understanding of documentation and process mapping tools
