About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a key contributor within our Business Analysis practice, providing expert advice, managing critical analysis activities, and coordinating efforts to ensure the successful delivery of client projects. You will work closely with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and technical teams, to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational goals. Your expertise will help facilitate workshops, develop detailed business requirement specifications, and support the implementation of solutions that optimize business processes and systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the manufacturing domain. A strong understanding of ERP systems and business analysis methodologies is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent client-facing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. Knowledge of emerging technologies, data analysis tools, and project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking is highly desirable. Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools will be considered an advantage. A relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with certifications in business analysis or project management being a plus.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Business Analyst at TVS Next, your core responsibilities will include:
- Gathering comprehensive business requirements from stakeholders and reviewing existing documentation to produce detailed business requirement specifications.
- Facilitating workshops using proven techniques to elicit detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Leading and contributing to team efforts to ensure complete and accurate requirement coverage, fostering effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Applying industry standards and methodologies, providing expertise and support on the use of methods and tools to ensure best practices.
- Conducting needs analysis, task planning, process/data analysis, modeling, and logical database design, especially with relational databases.
- Identifying and assessing risks that could impact project success, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to agree on project approaches and preparing realistic project plans, including quality, risk, and communication strategies.
- Tracking project activities against schedules, managing stakeholder involvement, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, promoting continuous improvement within the team.
- Handling training initiatives to build competency within the Business Analysis practice and across project teams.
