About The Role
The Business Analyst - Finance role at Ramco Systems is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant eager to apply their financial expertise in a dynamic technology environment. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical developers, project managers, and clients, to implement and optimize ERP solutions tailored to meet specific financial processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for finance and technology, possess excellent analytical skills, and be adaptable to the fast-paced, evolving landscape of enterprise software implementation. This role involves documenting current financial workflows, identifying process gaps, and supporting the deployment of cloud-based ERP systems to improve financial operations for clients across various industries.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- A fundamental understanding of finance functions, operating models, and best practices for process standardization.
- Familiarity with core finance technologies such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CE).
- Ability to facilitate workshops, gather client requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Proficiency in creating high-quality presentations and documentation using MS Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Document current and future financial workflows for clients to understand their existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Define and map end-to-end finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report cycles.
- Support management in the implementation of Cloud ERP solutions as part of clients' digital finance strategies.
- Analyze existing client financial workflows and suggest process optimizations leveraging Ramco's ERP tools.
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions on ERP functionalities to ensure smooth adoption.
- Configure and test ERP modules to ensure operational accuracy and seamless integration with existing systems.
- Stay informed about advancements in finance regulations, technology, and industry best practices to provide relevant and timely recommendations.
