Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guidewire or Duck Creek platforms and a strong understanding of insurance business processes. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
- Work closely with development teams on Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) or Duck Creek Suite implementations.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility assessments.
- Support system configuration, integration, and testing activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
- Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure business requirements are met.
- Provide domain expertise in underwriting, claims, policy administration, or billing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C Insurance domain.
- Strong experience with Guidewire or Duck Creek platforms.
- Solid understanding of insurance lifecycle (Policy, Claims, Billing).
- Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Guidewire/Duck Creek implementations or upgrades.
- Knowledge of data mapping, APIs, and system integrations.
- Certifications in Guidewire or Duck Creek (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exposure to SQL or data analysis tools is a plus.
