About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Finance Functional Support Analyst to join Ferguson GCC’s dynamic team. This critical role serves as the primary point of contact for the operational support of Oracle Fusion Financials, focusing on maintaining system stability, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting business continuity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production support, incident management, and issue resolution within Oracle Cloud Financials environments. This role involves close collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT teams to troubleshoot complex transactional and process issues, support month-end and period-close activities, and proactively prevent system disruptions. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing hands-on support and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and system performance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supporting Oracle Fusion Financials in a production environment, with strong knowledge of financial processes such as record-to-report, procure-to-pay, expenses, and month-end close activities. Proven expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex accounting and integration issues is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Cloud Financials certifications, are preferred. Experience working in a 24x7 support environment, supporting SOX and audit activities, and familiarity with ITIL frameworks will be advantageous. A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and experience managing Oracle Service Requests (SRs) are also required.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to associates experiencing issues with Oracle Fusion Financials, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Troubleshoot transactional, accounting, and process-related issues; identify root causes and implement effective resolutions or workarounds.
- Monitor and manage incident, request, and problem queues to meet defined SLAs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Serve as an escalation point for high-impact production issues, coordinating with technical teams for resolution.
- Collaborate with technical, integration, reporting, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex system issues.
- Support and maintain Oracle Financials Cloud modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Projects, Fixed Assets, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in supporting Oracle Expenses functionality and procure-to-pay processes, ensuring seamless operations.
- Provide hands-on support during critical periods such as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) interfaces, analyze failures, and coordinate resolutions with internal and external system owners.
- Support EPM Automate-driven finance processes and resolve data errors during GL batch imports.
- Assist users with reporting discrepancies, validate OTBI and BI Publisher reports, and support ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Own functional production support across modules, following ITIL incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Manage Oracle Service Requests from creation to resolution, providing clear communication during incidents.
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and process consistency.
- Support SOX, audit, and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance system stability and user experience.
