About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst specializing in finance to join our dynamic team at Ramco Systems. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh Chartered Accountants who are passionate about integrating finance with technology. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting ERP implementation projects by analyzing client financial workflows, identifying process improvements, and configuring ERP modules to meet client-specific requirements. You will serve as a vital link between technical teams and clients, ensuring seamless communication and successful project delivery. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in digital finance transformation, work with cutting-edge ERP solutions, and contribute to impactful client projects across various industries.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- A fundamental understanding of finance functions, operating models, and best practices for process standardization.
- Familiarity with core finance technologies such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CE).
- Ability to facilitate workshops, document client requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Proficiency in creating high-quality presentations using MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs.
Responsibilities
- Document current and future financial workflows for clients, capturing detailed process maps and requirements.
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives.
- Define and map end-to-end finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report cycles.
- Support management in the deployment of Cloud ERP solutions as part of clients' digital finance strategies.
- Analyze existing client financial workflows and suggest optimizations leveraging Ramco’s ERP tools and modules.
- Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct user training sessions to facilitate smooth ERP adoption.
- Configure and test ERP modules to ensure operational accuracy, data integrity, and seamless integration.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, technological advancements, and finance innovations to provide informed recommendations.
