About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a key advisor and coordinator within our Business Analysis practice, providing expert guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop comprehensive requirement specifications. Your expertise will help streamline processes, identify risks, and develop effective project plans. Additionally, you will lead efforts to build competency within the team, handle training initiatives, and ensure adherence to standards and methodologies. Your role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, especially within manufacturing domain projects, and supporting the deployment of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and data analytics tools like Power BI.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in the manufacturing domain. You should demonstrate excellent client-facing skills and have prior experience working with ERP systems. A solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, along with awareness of emerging technologies and developments, is essential. You should have good applications and technology knowledge, with the ability to apply problem-solving methodologies effectively. Experience in guiding and mentoring junior colleagues, providing technical guidance, and ensuring project quality standards is highly desirable. Familiarity with Power BI and project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking will be considered advantageous. A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Join our high-performance team of Business Analysts and serve as a senior advisor, managing or coordinating various aspects of Business Analysis activities.
- Gather detailed business requirements from stakeholders, review existing documentation, and produce comprehensive business requirement specification documents.
- Facilitate workshops using proven techniques to create detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Lead and assist team contributions, ensuring effective communication and complete requirement coverage across projects.
- Apply established standards and methodologies, providing expertise and support on the use of analysis methods and tools.
- Conduct needs analysis, task planning, process and data analysis, modeling, and logical database design, particularly with relational databases.
- Identify and evaluate risks that could impact project success, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to agree on project approaches and prepare realistic project plans, including quality, risk, and communication strategies.
- Track project activities against schedules, manage stakeholder engagement, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Handle training initiatives and build team competency to foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
