Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance (BA + QA) professional located in Ahmedabad. The BA + QA will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring the final product meets those requirements through structured testing and validation. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, developers, product teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution, accurate documentation, and quality deliverables. Responsibilities also include preparing requirement documents, creating user stories, writing test cases, conducting manual testing, tracking bugs, and supporting release validation.
Qualifications
* Strong requirement gathering and business analysis skills
* Experience in preparing documentation such as BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
* Ability to understand business workflows and translate requirements into functional specifications
* Knowledge of manual testing processes including functional testing, UI testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT
* Experience in writing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports
* Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or Trello
* Basic technical understanding of web applications, APIs, and database concepts
* Proficiency in tools like Postman, Browser DevTools, Excel / Google Sheets, Figma, and Confluence / Notion
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
* Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
* Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of JSON or REST API testing will be an added advantage
